The Strategic eDiscovery team will consult with the legal team in preparation for establishing a project workflow and budget by discussing support time-lines, collection protocol, filtering parameters, on-line training needs, database setup, processing and production specifications. As a prerequisite to completing all eDiscovery support work, a statement of work outlining the support costs is provided at each applicable support phase comparing the actual cost to the projected budget.
Strategic provides a team of support specialists dedicated to executing the eDiscovery project workflow in a timely and cost efficient manner. These typically include:
- Business Development Manager oversees establishment of a project budget and provides statements of work for each applicable phase of the project for review and approval. The BDM is responsible for consulting with the client to compare the actual cost against the budget for each phase of the eDiscovery process.
- Project Manager is the point of contact throughout the entire eDiscovery process, consulting with the client throughout every phase from legal hold and collections through document production.
- Sr. Database Manager is responsible for database setup and customization. They are also a consultative resource for database training and use of applicable eDiscovery technology throughout the process.
- Data Manager is responsible for data ingestion, migration, processing and production.
